Spot light Sunday John Hamilton

I have been collecting since 2012 . Since then I have made a lot of Disney friends and seen many other collections. It's a wonder what people can do when they are inspired. Because of that I want to share the spotlight with my fellow Disney lovers and show off their beautiful collections. Today will be our first of hopefully many spot light Sunday Features.

John Hamilton - Disney and Wizard of Oz Jim Shore Collector

I met John Hamilton or Jimmy john (a nickname I gave him when I seen his collection for the first time) through facebook on January 24th of this year. Residing in Aberdeen Scotland he collects Disney and Wizard of Oz Jim Shore pieces. John Received his first Jim Shore from his Partner Eleanor in September of 2012.   In the (going on) 2 years since he started he has accumulated 195 pieces. Which are beautifully Displayed in his house. 

While there are no goals in mind John plans to continue buying new Jim Shores that catch his eye. He wants to some day get the Lady and the Tramp piece called "Moonlight Romance". The piece depicts the two adorable canine characters in the spaghetti sharing scene in the presence a full moon. So far the favorite part of his collection is his Snow White collection. It is Displayed proudly at the top of the shelf where it can be all placed together! 

John has several suppliers through out the world. He buys from Clintons, The present shop and Keillers in Scotland, and JustFab gifts in England . He like most of us skims Ebay, Ebay UK, Amazon, and Amazon UK. Not to mention several suppliers throughout the U.S and France. John puts a lot of pride into his collection and loves to share his new pieces when he gets them! Keep a look out, you may just find him posting on one of the many Disney groups on facebook .
